It is difficult to spend this much money on an item I have not seen in person. But it looked to be what I wanted to go on the deck with my Victorian wicker. My neighbor put it together for me and he told me it is well made and easy to assemble. It is heavy and feels more like cast iron. Before I ordered another friend told me to expect it to be lightweight and blow around. But the wind isn't blowing this set anywhere. The chairs are comfortable and do not require the addition of a cushion. The only thing I would offer up as a word of caution is that the picture makes it look more gold, but it is very black. That's OK. I have a designer friend who has helped me choose cushions and paint for my wicker which needed those things anyway, and my wonderful deck is going to be stunning when I get it all done. It does seem like a lot of money, but I live in a very remote area. Even if I had bought something near here it would be over an hour away and the delivery charges would have eaten me up.
