This is a very nice, high quality sofa. This looks good enough that it can be used indoors. However, it's not meant to be used indoors (fabric. is not breathable and not as cushioned like an indoor couch) As an outdoor sofa, it's amazing. There is a very strong metal frame, covered with wicker like plastic. So it's hollow under the cushions and back. There is no assembly required. I can easily see this lasting decades.
